Yesterday was spent with this awesome lady – Ebba. We did some christmas and vintage shopping in Notting Hill and High St Kensington. We later on met up with both Charlotte and Moa. We had some wine and hours of catch up at a cosy little pub. Perfect Saturday afternoon. And the evening ended with movie night at home where we saw Charlie Countryman. I would say it was ok, It was a “girly” thriller/ drama film. Or so at least Matthew said.
HELLO! My first week as freelance. And I’m a busy bee! This photo was taken a few weeks ago, at the Inexcess head office by my sweet X-intern Caroline, who has now spread her wings and working in the headoffice full time. So proud!
Tonight I’m meeting with Malin. We are going to a gallery for some networking and champagne. Have not seen Malin in weeks, she is doing a Master in event and theatre production, so interesting! I’m sure I’ll hear all about it tonight. I’ll make sure to take some photo. Will be uploaded on mine and the Charli instagram @charli_london.
I am so so so thankful for the time at Inexcess Fashion and all the awesome people I have gotten to know. But as you know it was my last day on Friday. And today I have started my new adventures! First project is the pr and social media for London based brand Charli. I have just set up their Instagram – please follow @charli_london. Here you will be able to follow all things happening around the brand, including their AW14 shoot on Friday, where I will be at taking photos, updating live!
Good morning! I have had the most lazy morning in history. Matthew made me breakfast in bed. I have skyped with my brother and mom while they sat in front of the fire eating saffron buns (1st advent celebration in Sweden) and I have watched some film. Matthew has now left for an hour of riding his bike in the park. And I got stuck on Pinterest – my new obsession. A great place to find inspiration and create your own inspiration boards.
I have always loved interior, at one point before moving to London I even through of doing interior as my future job. But Happy where my life is taking me within communication. But I can still dream of big future homes where I can go wild on whatever I like. Above is a selection of images I have on my Pinterest ‘future dream home – board’.
It is important to always dream and visualise. Looking through all these amazing photos, has now inspired me to get up, have a shower, and clean a bit at home, put the christmas star in the window etc.
Have a wonderful Sunday!
I got news for you!!! This week is my last week working for Inexcess Fashion doing all their PR. New adventures awaits. Super excited about this, even though I’m sad to leave such a brilliant place to work. Will tell you more about shortly!

Did I say we had such a fun relaxed time together, me and dad, this weekend! Here is a specific relaxed moment in the Conran shop in Marylebone where we found a sofa for 6000 pounds. I WANT IT.. not because of the price but the feel. Best sofa I’ve ever tried. Will have one in the future! We said to the Conran shop staff that we wanted more info on it, just to be able sit in it a bit longer while they were running around getting the papers. Hehe…
We went to the most amazing little victorian coffee shop off Brick Lane on Bacon Street. Vintage Emporium was the name. While having our tea a folk music bang made out of 3 young guys started to play. It was an amazing atmosphere in this little candle lit room! After our tea, we brought out our sketch books and sketched. I tried to sketch the profile of dad. Realistic sketching is not my strongers side, I like it more rough and wild in the lines. But I think I did ok!
I had the most amazing weekend with my dad. We just hung out, went to galleries, restaurants, bars, cool shops and pubs. The best thing that happened yesterday was this man next to me in the photo. Dad and I had lunch at the Royal Oak on Colombia Road Flower market and he asked if the seat next to us was free. He was scrambling in his little money pouch to get together enough money for a pint of beer. Which he did, and then the money pouch was empty.
Dad has been treating me all weekend, so I felt it was my time to treat someone – and this time a man with little money, but with a heart of gold. He told me he was vegetarian, so I asked him if I could treat him on a risotto lunch, and his eyes just looked at me and then the biggest smile filled his face ”I Would Love to have some lunch”. When I was at the bar ordering him the food, dad could see this man, Gavin, just smiling for himself. Gavin was so nice and I have never seen anyone so genuinely thankful in my life. I felt so good for being able to help this man to a lovely Sunday lunch at one of my favourite pubs in London. The staff promised to take great care of him when dad and I left for the market.
So happy I met you Gavin! We are all humans with different stories that has brought us to different stages in our lives. It is important that we reach out and help each other sometimes! A genuine smile is worth all the money in the world.
Happy Friday!! Today is an awesome day! I started my day by watching THIS video in bed. It inspired me and reminded me about the awesomeness of life. And then I remembered that my dad is coming to London today! So excited about that. Will take him to my forever favourite italian place tonight, and the weekend we will be doing the art scene of London; galleries, exhibitions and museums. Matthew is in New York this weekend. So I can truly focus on some quality time with dad. Will be great!
